How do you fancy joining me on the Parish Council?

I am one of eight volunteer councillors who serves on our Parish Council however, we have a vacancy to take us to our full strength of nine. We are all so passionate about our village and try to make it the very best we can. From getting involved in exciting projects such as developing the Youth Club building for today’s young people and for those still young at heart, playing a part in various village events to keeping our green spaces fit for an everyday jubilee! We have our say on shaping our village for the future and we would really welcome your input with this. No previous experience is necessary. Just a love for our village. We meet once a month at 7pm on the second Monday of the month. There is also an optional Planning Meeting for those councillors interested in planning which is on the fourth Monday of the month. We are supported by Kat, our fabulous Parish Clerk who takes care of all the administration. Our Borough Councillor, Ken Mulholland is always on hand for advice and guidance. If you would like to join us please email the Clerk on clerk@smardenparishcouncil.gov.uk or drop in and see her at The Charter Hall on Monday mornings until 12 or 9am - 5pm on Wednesdays.
